Deoria District

Deoria is an administrative district of Uttar Pradesh with its headquarters located at Deoria town. The district is surrounded by Kushinagar district in the North, district Gopalganj & Siwan (Bihar state) in the East, district Mau & district Ballia in the South and district Gorakhpur in the West. Deoria district forms a part of Gorakhpur division.

By Rail : The nearest railway station is Deoria Sadar which is well connected to Gorakhpur Jn. in West and Varanasi Jn. (via Bhatni Jn.) in South West, Siwan & Barauni Jn. (via Bhatni Jn.) in South East (Bhatni Jn. All passenger and express trains passing through the district take halt at Deoria Sadar station.

By Road : Deoria town is situated at about 53 km away from Gorakhpur by road towards east. Deoria Depo is the main bus stop. Buses are available to various parts of the state.
