Hamirpur is a district in Uttar Pradesh with headquarters at Hamirpur town. The district is bounded by districts Jalaun (Orai), Kanpur and Fatehpur in the North, Banda in the East, Mahoba in South and Districts of Jhansi and Jalaun on the West. Hamirpur district forms a part of Chitrakoot Division.
