Unnao District

The Unnao district is situated between the cities of Lucknow & Kanpur.

The district is named after its Headquarter town, Unnao.

The District is roughly a parallelogram in shape. It is bounded on the North by District Hardoi , on the East by District Lucknow, on the South by District Rae Bareli and on the West by the Ganga which seperates it from districts of Kanpur & Fatehpur.

Rivers


The Ganga and the Sai are the main rivers of the district.
